Yes ma'am

Last night included of glitter, glue and scissors. A girls favorite trio. With my grandparents now back in Mexico :'( I have my bare room back. To give it a but of pizazz I created a banner.

So as of lately I've been checking out guys less. The women of my family have always liked to check men out and the about handsome men. It was just something we all did and I picked up. It's not like we were flirtatious but we just really liked bloody handsome men. Hispanic women like that dark brooding buff men so of course they'll rave. Not saying I like that kind of guy!
When I realized I stopped checking guys out I began to worry. Sounds stupid but true. I worried because this was a bad sign. My thoughts and life ways were changing. For good or bad, I'm not sure yet.

ROOKIE YEARBOOK

I just bought the Rookie Yearbook on impusle. Regret it? NAW. Being impulsive in this case is good. When it arrives I am sure to cry. Tavi is such a big influence in my life. I see her as a role model. She is the gal that every gal should have as a role model. If I could switch lives for just one day (preferably during Fashion Week hahaha...) it would be with Tavi. She would probably just have an entire day of sleeping so I guess it would be an equal trade. Rookiemag.com was my go-to website when I had free time or wanted to procrastinate on school work. Since I started working I have not gotten to go on as much as I would want to but I try to keep up.
Anyways, I just wanted to share this with y'all (whoever you are <3).

Men are pigs

Today the bus ride to work was horrible. First time I wear a dress to work and I get stares. They really weren't stares that made me feel flattered but more like violated. The dress was mid thigh length but I wore black tights and shirts under. The men in the bus were checking me out as if I was a piece of meat.
Then to make things worse some big guy gets super close to me and stared down my dress. Feeling furious an violates I told him he was way too close to me and to move. I wasn't very nice about it and he got the picture.
The feminist in me wanted to lecture him but my stop was nearing and I'm not that bold. Definitely not letting this get to me. Just wanted to vent a bit.

Other than that incident I think today was a successes. At work I'm getting along with the girls and I'm still getting used to the environment.

DIY: Spike Studded Choker

Made this a week ago but I was unsure wether to post this here. Since I don't own any chokers except for a velvet one, I decided to make my own since finding one is 1) difficult and 2) expensive.
It's quite easy to make! I will make more and add a better detailed tutorial later.
Materials:
-Thin black belt
-Studs (spiked, coned--your choice)
-Scissors
-1 pair of snap buttons

First off measure your neck and add about 4 cm, cut the belt according to your neck size. Second, begin to stud your soon-to-be-choker. I did it by hand for better precision. Next, sew on the snap buttons at the ends of the soon-to-be-choker and voila! (*´∀｀*)ﾉ
Easy huh? You can make bravely this way too.

I put a spell on you

Friday night ended up being a total drag. Tried to read, nap and eat but still wasn't enjoying myself. In the end my box of makeup called out to me. There was classical Indian music in the background and love in the air. Being the kind person I am I reached out to it and smothered it with my face. Hence my cakeface. ♡
DIY part: my choker is actually a black headband with studs. I added the studs myself. Ordered 50 of them off ebay for $3! I think I'll keep it and use it as a headband as well.

For about a year now I've like the style concept of bondage in fashion. It's totally kinky but I don't like it for the use of sex but for fashion. It really is a unique, bold, adventurous accessory. They're probably seen as a taboo and my parents would shake their heads if they saw me in one. Little do they know I'm in the plans of making my own harness (DIY post along with it!). I've yet to see anyone rock these around here in Seattle. Maybe I'll be one of the first.

Sadly, I haven't seen many fashion bloggers use bondage items in their outfits. Yes, plenty of individual rock the chokers and cufss but I mean I haven't seen many harnesses! I've got plenty of homework to do. I need to more bondage use in fashion. Here are some I found online.
